The Edmonton Food Council is seeking six (6) volunteers to assist with the implementation of Let’s Talk Food, the opening event for Cultivating Connections 2017: Alberta Regional Food Systems Forum. Let’s Talk Food will include a wine tasting, appetizers and moderated discussion with a panel of regional mayors. The event will take place at City Hall on Friday, February 3, 2017. Volunteers are required for the following tasks between 5 – 9pm:

• Final touches on event set-up (moving chairs, tables, placing tablecloths)
• Checking ID at the wine tasting venue
• Greeting guests at the door
• Ushering guests to seats
• Running microphones during the Q&A session
• Assisting with conference registration
• Running food from the kitchen to the event area
• Event clean-up
